My background:
I graduated with my Bachelor of Social Work degree in 2013 from Ball State University and my Master of Social Work degree from IUPUI in 2014. I am a licensed clinical social worker with a passion for supporting individuals on their journey towards mental and emotional well-being. I have over eight years of experience as a therapist and have worked with people from a variety of backgrounds. One of the highlights of my career has been witnessing the transformational healing process utilizing EMDR throughout the past three years to help a wide range of clients heal from the past.
In addition to my work as an EMDR therapist, I draw from various therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based and solution focused approaches, to tailor treatment to each client's unique needs and goals. I believe in the importance of creating a therapeutic relationship built on trust, empathy, and mutual respect.
